ReelRentals Terms of Service

Thank you for choosing ReelRentals. ReelRentals, LLC strives to provide a seamless platform and marketplace connecting production companies with owners of vehicles for film, television, and content production rentals. By accessing or interacting with our platform, website, services, or any associated content or listings (collectively referred to as "The Services"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("TOS"), effective as of the latest update.
Modifications to Terms
ReelRentals, LLC reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service ("TOS") at any time, at its sole discretion. It is your responsibility to review the TOS periodically for any updates or changes. Your continued use of “The Services” after any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised TOS.
User Eligibility
To use ReelRentals.io or The Services, you must meet the following eligibility requirements:
Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction to create an account and use ReelRentals.io and The Services. By accessing and using the platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
Legal Capacity: You must have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements. If you are using The Services on behalf of a company, organization, or other legal entity, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms of Service.
Compliance with Laws: You agree to use The Services in compliance with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws, rules, and regulations. You must not use the platform in any way that violates these laws or regulations.
Account Accuracy: You are required to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account and maintaining your profile on The Services. You are responsible for keeping your account information up to date at all times.
Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify info@ReelRentals.io immediately if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account.
Restricted Users: Individuals or entities that have been previously banned, suspended, or otherwise restricted by ReelRentals, LLC are not eligible to use the platform. Additionally, ReelRentals, LLC reserves the right to deny access to any user at its sole discretion.
By using The Servcies you agree to meet these eligibility requirements. Failure to comply may result in suspension or termination of your account without notice.
License
Subject to your compliance with these Terms of Service ("TOS"), ReelRentals, LLC grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to access and use The Services for its intended purpose. This license prohibits any use of The Services’ content for commercial purposes, including but not limited to "framing," creating derivative works, distributing, licensing, or selling, except for the content that you post or create. Unauthorized access, data scraping, reverse engineering, or any use that undermines the integrity of the platform is strictly prohibited.
By posting content on ReelRentals.io or The Services, you represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to grant ReelRentals, LLC a perpetual, irrevocable, unlimited, worldwide, fully paid, and sublicensable license to use, copy, display, distribute, and create derivative works from your content. This license does not transfer ownership of your content to ReelRentals, LLC, but allows us to operate, promote, and improve the platform.
ReelRentals, LLC reserves the right to terminate this license at any time if you violate these TOS. You acknowledge and agree that ReelRentals, LLC is not responsible for any content posted by users and does not endorse any user-generated content.
Usage Policy
To ensure a safe, professional, and respectful environment, all users must adhere to the following Usage Policy:
Acceptable Use
Purpose: ReelRentals, LLC, and the Services are intended for legitimate rentals related to film, television, and other content production purposes. All activities must align with the intended use of connecting production needs with suppliers.
Compliance: You agree to use The Services in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and these Terms of Service (TOS). Any use of the platform that violates the law or these TOS is strictly prohibited.
Prohibited Conduct
Misrepresentation: Do not post false, misleading, or fraudulent information regarding your listings, identity, or intentions on The Services.
Intellectual Property Violations: You may not post or use content that infringes upon the copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights of others.
Unauthorized Access: Accessing, using, or attempting to access www.ReelRentals.io or systems, services, servers, or data without authorization is prohibited. This includes but is not limited to scraping data, hacking, or reverse engineering any part of the platform.
Prohibited Items: You may not list or offer to rent items that are illegal, unsafe, or violate third-party rights. All listed items must comply with local, state, and federal laws.
Offensive Content: Posting content that is offensive, defamatory, obscene, abusive, harassing, or discriminatory is not allowed. This includes but is not limited to hate speech, sexually explicit content, or content that promotes violence.
User Responsibility
Accuracy: Users are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the information in their listings. Any misrepresentation of an item’s condition, availability, or suitability can result in account suspension or termination.
Content Ownership: You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights to any content you post on ReelRentals or the Services. You must not post content that violates any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights.
Interactions: All communications and interactions with other users must be conducted in a professional, respectful manner. Harassment, threats, and abuse will not be tolerated.
Payments and Transactions
Facilitation Only: ReelRentals, LLC and related Services serve as a platform to connect users for the purpose of renting vehicles, props, set dressings, and other production items. ReelRentals, LLC does not participate in, manage, or facilitate any payments, contracts, or transactions between users. All terms, agreements, and transactions are solely the responsibility of the parties involved.
Independent Negotiations: All rental terms, including pricing, availability, and conditions, must be negotiated directly between the parties involved. ReelRentals, LLC is not responsible for any disputes arising from these negotiations or transactions.
No Circumvention of Listings: Users are prohibited from using the platform to identify parties and then completing agreements or transactions off-platform in ways that violate the intended use of ReelRentals, LLC and The Services.
Assumption of Risk: By using The Services, you acknowledge that you are solely responsible for your interactions and transactions with other users. ReelRentals, LLC does not endorse, guarantee, or validate any items listed or rented through the platform.
Monitoring and Enforcement
Content Review: ReelRentals, LLC reserves the right to review, monitor, and remove any content that violates this Usage Policy or our TOS. We may suspend or terminate accounts found in violation without notice.
Reporting Violations: Users are encouraged to report any violations of this Usage Policy to ReelRentals, LLC at info@reelrentals.io
Termination
Right to Terminate: ReelRentals, LLC reserves the right to terminate access to the platform for any user who violates these terms or engages in activities that harm the community or integrity of The Services.
Liability and Disclaimers
Platform as a Facilitator: ReelRentals, LLC serves as a platform to connect production companies, filmmakers, and other content creators with suppliers of vehicles for film, television, and content production. ReelRentals, LLC does not own, create, sell, resell, rent, or manage any items listed on the platform. All transactions, agreements, and interactions are strictly between the users.
No Endorsement or Verification: ReelRentals, LLC does not endorse, verify, or guarantee the accuracy, quality, safety, legality, or suitability of any items listed or any users on the platform. Users are solely responsible for their own due diligence and decision-making when entering into agreements or transactions.
No Warranty: ReelRentals, LLC and The Services is provided "as is" and "as available," without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ReelRentals, LLC disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. ReelRentals, LLC does not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReelRentals, LLC, its affiliates, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising from or in connection with:
Your access to or use of, or inability to access or use, The Services;
Any conduct or content of other users or third parties on the platform;
Any content obtained from The Services
Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your content or account
Assumption of Risk: By using The Services, you acknowledge and agree that any reliance on content posted on the platform and any interactions, agreements, or transactions with other users is at your own risk. ReelRentals, LLC makes no representations regarding the accuracy or reliability of any user-generated content.
Indemnification: You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ReelRentals, LLC, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including, without limitation, reasonable legal and accounting fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the platform, your violation of these TOS, or your interaction with any other user.
No Liability for Third-Party Services: ReelRentals, LLC may include links or integrate with third-party services, but ReelRentals, LLC is not responsible for and does not control these third-party services. Your use of any third-party services is at your own risk, and you should review their terms and conditions.
Jurisdictional Limitations: Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages. Accordingly, some of the above limitations may not apply to you. In such cases, ReelRentals, LLC’s liability will be limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
