ReelRentals, LLC Affiliate Program Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: April 22, 2025
By participating in the ReelRentals Affiliate Program (the “Program”), you agree to comply with the terms and conditions outlined below. These terms constitute a binding agreement between you (the “Affiliate”) and ReelRentals, LLC. (“ReelRentals”).
Commission Structure
Affiliates will earn a one-time commission of $5.00 (USD) for each new paid subscription generated through their unique referral link. Only first-time subscriptions from new users are eligible for commissions.
Affiliates will earn a one-time commission of $3.00 (USD) for each new account sign-up with at least one published vehicle generated through their unique referral link. Only first-time and new users are eligible for commissions. All newly approved affiliates will be automatically placed in a 90-day probationary period. During this probationary period, commissions for new accounts with at least one published listing will be capped at $1,000.00 per month for the first 90 days. There is no cap on new paid subscription commissions during the probationary period.
Payout Terms
To qualify for commission payments:
The referred user must:
1. Complete account sign-up and publish at least one vehicle on the Reel Rentals platform and remain on the platform for a minimum of 3 months. ($3.00 per account)
or
2. Complete a paid subscription. ($5.00 per subscription)
Commissions will only be awarded once ReelRentals verifies the referred user’s account or subscription as active and/or paid, following the applicable 30-day processing period. Commissions for free accounts will be paid within 30 days after each free account has been active for 90 days.
Minimum Threshold: Commissions will be paid once the Affiliate’s account balance reaches $50.
Payment Schedule: Payments will be processed and issued on the 15th day of each calendar month, subject to a 30-day processing period following the generation of commissions.
Payment Method: Payments will be made exclusively via PayPal to the email account specified by the Affiliate.
Referral Tracking
ReelRentals employs a cookie-based tracking system to monitor referrals. Referral cookies will not expire, ensuring ongoing tracking for all valid referrals.
Business Cards
As part of the Affiliate Program, approved affiliates will receive custom business cards featuring their unique QR code. By accepting and distributing these cards, affiliates agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding solicitation, advertising, and promotional material.
Affiliates must not engage in littering, illegal canvassing, or solicitation in prohibited areas. Examples include (but are not limited to) placing cards on vehicles without permission, distributing them in no-solicitation zones, or leaving them in public spaces where littering laws apply.
Affiliates assume full responsibility for ensuring their distribution methods are lawful and agree that ReelRentals, LLC is not liable for any fines, penalties, or other consequences arising from misuse or violation of local rules and ordinances. If you’re ever unsure whether a location or method of distribution is permitted, please check with local authorities or venue managers before proceeding. When in doubt, hand them out—don’t throw them out.
Tax Documentation and Compliance
Affiliates earning over $600 (USD) annually through the Program are required to submit a completed IRS Form W-9 or equivalent documentation in compliance with U.S. tax regulations. Affiliates are solely responsible for reporting and paying any taxes due on their earnings. Affiliates who do not return a completed W-9 form or do not adhere to ReelRentals affiliate program tax policies, may have commissions withheld or be removed from the affiliate program at the sole discretion of ReelRentals, LLC.
Eligibility
To participate in the Program, Affiliates must:
Be at least 18 years old.
Be a legal resident of the United States.
Approval Process
Participation in the ReelRentals Affiliate Program is subject to approval by ReelRentals, LLC. Applicants must provide accurate and complete information during the application process. ReelRentals reserves the right to approve or reject any application at its sole discretion and is not obligated to provide a reason for its decision. Approved Affiliates may also undergo periodic reviews to ensure compliance with the Program’s terms.
Prohibited Activities
Affiliates may not engage in the following:
Self-Referrals: Affiliates may not use their referral link to create or pay for their own subscriptions.
Misrepresentation: Affiliates must not make false or misleading claims about ReelRentals or the Program.
Objectionable Content: Affiliate websites or promotional materials must not contain offensive, discriminatory, illegal, or inappropriate content.
ReelRentals reserves the right to review Affiliate activities for compliance and take corrective action, including suspension or termination from the Program, for any violations.
Modification of Program Terms
ReelRentals reserves the right to modify or update these terms and conditions at any time. Affiliates will be notified of significant changes in advance. Continued participation in the Program after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Termination of Agreement
ReelRentals may terminate this agreement and the Affiliate’s participation in the Program at its sole discretion. Grounds for termination include, but are not limited to:
Violations of these terms and conditions.
Fraudulent activity.
Other actions deemed harmful to ReelRentals’ brand or operations.
Compliance with Laws
Affiliates must comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations, including those related to advertising, privacy, and consumer protection.
Affiliate Disclosure Compliance
Affiliates are required to comply with all Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines regarding endorsements and testimonials. This includes prominently disclosing the Affiliate relationship in all promotional content. For example, Affiliates must include a clear and conspicuous statement such as:
"As a ReelRentals affiliate, I earn from qualifying subscriptions."
Failure to comply with disclosure requirements may result in suspension or termination from the Program, forfeiture of commissions, or other corrective actions deemed necessary by ReelRentals.
Content Standards
Affiliate content must align with ReelRentals’ values and standards. ReelRentals reserves the right to deny or revoke participation for Affiliates whose content is deemed inappropriate or misaligned with brand guidelines.
Independent Contractor Relationship
Participation in the Program does not create an employer-employee relationship, partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship between the Affiliate and ReelRentals. Affiliates operate as independent contractors.
Limitation of Liability
ReelRentals is not liable for:
Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in the Program.
Loss of commissions due to technical errors, fraud, or policy violations.
Entire Agreement
These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between the Affiliate and ReelRentals regarding the Program and supersede all prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral.
By participating in the Program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
